With more than three decades of experience in interstate transport, Fred’s Managing Director brings extensive operational knowledge and a practical understanding of the Australian freight industry.
After joining Fred’s in 1988, he worked across operations and fleet maintenance before being appointed Managing Director in 1994. Under his leadership, Fred’s has continued to grow as an independent, family-owned business with a proven record of delivering reliable full-truckload transport services across Australia’s eastern seaboard and Adelaide.
Focused on building long-term customer relationships and delivering dependable transport solutions, he is currently overseeing a $40 million investment to modernise and expand the Fred’s fleet.
Larissa Hicks
Chief Financial Officer
An experienced finance executive, Larissa brings extensive financial and commercial expertise to the management team, with a strong background in the transport and logistics industry.
As Chief Financial Officer, Larissa oversees the company’s financial strategy, reporting, cash flow and capital management, ensuring resources are effectively deployed to support sustainable growth and long-term business performance.
Working closely with the broader management team, she provides financial analysis and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making, while overseeing financial governance, compliance and risk management.
With a practical and commercially focused approach, Larissa is committed to strengthening financial performance, improving business processes and supporting the continued growth of the company.
